                                            Covid 19 Guidelines

  • Swimmers to arrive with swim kit under clothes, please ensure they use the toilet before entering pool – to hopefully reduce the prospect of needing a toilet break during lesson.

  • Only 1 Adult to accompany swimmers to their lesson

  • Please arrive no more than 5 mins before lesson

  • Where possible we have moved siblings to the same lesson to reduce time spent in the facility

  • It may be necessary to place some classes on a Rota, swimming every other week to allow for social distancing and keeping swimmers in a safe bubble.

  • Entering the pool will now be via a one-way system entering via the family changing room and exiting via either Male/Female changing rooms. On the family Changing Room door there is a poster with a QR code for track and trace, please register at each lesson this enables us to contact you should the need arise, your information will not be shared with anyone else. The QR code is also below and you can find Evepass on the app store.

  • Following guidance teaching will now take place from poolside where appropriate. After carrying out a risk assessment we have decided it would be safer to teach our starfish groups in the water, where we will maintain social distancing and also give instructions standing side on to the swimmer to limit face to face interaction (visors will also be worn in the water and during anytime swimmers are on poolside requiring instruction).

  • We do also have the option for Starfish groups and Swimmers requiring additional help, where we can invite an adult to participate in the lesson giving support should the swimmer need it, taking instructions from the class teacher.

  • If swimmer is feeling Unwell or has any of the following symptoms – A continuous cough, High Temperature of a loss of, or change to sense of smell or taste. Please do not attend your lesson and notify staff at Aqua Drops Swim School.

       Instructions for entering Building/Swimming Pool

  • On arrival at Sports Direct please observe the 2m social distancing and wait at the entrance until a member of staff advises you to enter

  • Please use the hand sanitiser at reception and ensure you are wearing a mask, you will then be directed to the family changing room situated in the corner of the reception area to your right, your child’s teacher will collect them from there, (Please do not step onto poolside). If the family changing facility is busy please wait until it is safe for you to move your swimmer forward.

  • Unfortunately, for the time being and everyone’s safety, the seating/spectator area is closed! For the duration of the lesson you will be required to return to your vehicle or maybe go for a stroll.

  • A few minutes before the end of the lesson, please make your way again maintaining social distancing, using hand sanitiser and wearing mask to either Male/Female changing rooms and wait in the corridor near the pool where we will return your children to you.

  • It is recommended that children shower at home after their lesson to reduce the time spent in the changing rooms.

  • Feedback is temporarily suspended at the end of the lesson, but we are happy to provide feedback via email upon request.
