I've been involved in Swimming from a young age when I joined my local swimming school progressing to the club sessions as my swimming improved.     At the age of sixteen i was fortunate enough to be able to complete my teaching assistant qualification and helped out with the younger members lessons in my club, going on to complete my ASA level One & Two, along with ASA Adult & Child and ASA Disabilities Level One, I'm also an Authorised Rookie Lifeguard Instructor and hold my NRASTC. Since 2006 i have taught swimming in the Huntingdon area, I can truely say i love my job it's rewarding and seeing the children ive taught over the years gain so much confidence in what i believe is an important life skill and through the Rookie Lifeguard lessons I've seen a large number of my students go on to become Lifeguards. I'm a firm believer if the lessons are fun it will make even the most nervous of swimmers in to a Happy Confident Swimmer.

I've had a passion for swimming since I was really young, when I turned 13 I had the oppourtunity to become a swimming teaching assistant!                   I absolutely adored it, I was counting down the days until I was 16 so I could do my level one ASA swim teacher qualification as it meant I could take on my own classes. When I turned 17 I did my ASA level two swim teacher qualification, and my NPLQ. Since the age of 16, I have taken my own classes and absolutely loved every minute of it! I'm a fitness instructor, looking to do my personal training qualifications next! I love teaching because it's rewarding, and great fun! I believe it's important for every child to enjoy learning to swim, and have fun doing so. Also it's a great life skill to carry where ever you go.
